Day 1... and so it begins

I am almost an empty-nester (my youngest leaves for university in Jan. 2011) and I find myself at a new & exciting place - a place where I can do more of what I want and focus on ME... yaah baby!!


A few of my short term goals are;
• lose 40+ lbs (once I reach this goal, I will re-evaluate how I feel/look and if another 10lbs is warranted, then ok)
• Become a certified fitness instructor (to making a few extra bucks, but most importantly to maintain my weight loss)
• learn to play the guitar (acoustic)
• Become a certified Event Planner
• Refine my sewing skills & make more of my own clothes

What I ate today...

Lunch - 3:30 pm
I started the day with lunch because I stayed up all night (no work today) and slept all day today :)
• 2 cups Vegetable Chili (if you’re interested in the recipe, let me know and I will post it)
Dinner
• 6" falafel w/veggie & hummus Extreme Pita
• 591ml water
Evening Snack
• Triple/grande/extra hot/soy latte (Starbucks)
